Pipelay Rollers

Marine Urethane, Inc. builds every type roller used on pipelay barges worldwide.

These are classified as:

  • Idler or guide rollers - straight cylindrical rollers with integral shafts and outside bearings.
  • "V" Rollers - Hourglass shaped rollers for conveying pipe longitudinally. May have outside or integral bearings.
  • Drive rollers - have integral shaft with keyway for sprocket or gear to turn roller.
  • Stinger Roller - Have internal bearings and rotate about a fixed shaft.

Pictured here are V-Rollers suited for relaying 20" diameter pipe. These hourglass shaped rollers are made from a 90 shore "A" polyurethane.

These V-Rollers are manufactured for a lay barge to handle large diameter pipe.
